I'm from out of town and on the recommendation of our host I ordered from here. Otherwise, based on the other reviews, I probably would have skipped it. We ordered one deep dish and one stuffed and it was just a stupid amount of food. They weren't even the largest size. It fed three large grown men for two complete meals and I ended up taking one whole pizza home. Seemed like most of the complaints were about price. It was $75 for the two pizzas but that included delivery fees through grub hub and tips. You could easily spend that in Cleveland for a couple large specialty pizzas and they wouldn't feed 12 hungry people with leftovers. I love deep dish style pizza. I always get it any time I'm in Chicago. Mama Luna's is up there with the best I've ever had and blows away any Ohio version of this kind of pizza. Would definitely eat here again.
Listen, the pizza is great! Say what you will, I love this place. Order your pizza well done! It's gotten expensive over the years, but I mean, I stay loyal. The sauce is so good. I rarely eat inside, but it's a decent place for a meal. Very clean and bright. I just order for take out. Save money by doing pick up, order one topping, and take cash, it's way cheaper!
Haven't ate this pizza since the 80's. Amazing as back then. A must try. You will not regret.
Mama Luna's pizza is incredible. It rivals some of my favorite tavern style pizza and gives you that incredible pizza with a crispy thin crust that you know and love when you crave a pizza. Eddy, the bartender, made us an incredible mojito that was delicious! Make sure you ask for Eddy to serve you and order some pizza! I'm in awe of how incredible this pizza is.
